SF360 Member opening balance $0 in reports

Member Opening Balances:
. Account View # $0.00
. Create Entries Report = $ 0.00

Profit / loss is not allocated to members.
Tax Return not showing Member Opening Balances.

Why is Account View 50010 Opening Balances not being “picked up”?

Have you followed the instructions on how to setup a SMSF in Simple Fund 360?

To the letter:
Page 53 & 56 of https://www.bglcorp.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/05/sf360-professional-user-manual.pdf

and to the click:

All perfect. Opening balances in Members and Accounting, no opening balances in reports.

I had this problem where I created entries after I input my opening balances, avoid that.

And make sure you have “System Start Date” correct in “fund details” screen.

Other than that, you will have to contact BGL to sort your problem out.

From Zhengyuan Zhang (Simple Fund 360):

** The issue was because the 56100 and 57100 accounts were being used in the opening balance period. This will usually be due to the fact that a system start date was not entered in Fund Details before the opening balances were entered.*

The system start date may have been deleted or changed at some time resulting in system journal transactions related to movement from accum to pension. Deleting those system transactions, ‘Reverse Entries’ and ‘Create Entries’ has resulted in correct Member Opening Balances in ‘Create Entries Report’ and correct allocation of earnings.

Thanks - you were spot on. BGL have fixed.
