Rejected Returns

We have a few rejected returns sitting in our lodgement screen - some of these are BAS or IAS rather than annual returns. Even if I mark the document as “lodged(manually)” on the BAS/IAS form list under the client, it still appears on the rejected returns tab on the lodgement screen.

Is there a way of clearing these once they have been addressed? Does anyone else have a way of managing this?

If there is no current solution, may we request it as a new feature please?

Hi Christine

Thanks for your query.

The current ‘Lodged (manually)’ is a document status and not a lodgement status and this is why it is not clearing out of your rejected returns list.

We added the ability to change the lodgement status to ‘Mark as Lodged’ for annual returns, which moves it from awaiting lodgement or rejected to the lodged tab. However, we didn’t extend this to BAS/IAS returns.

Thanks for bringing this to our attention. We will look to have this addressed in a future release.

Thanks Anthony - that would be a very useful feature for our lodgement team.
