Opening Balances: Pension payment to ceased account

Hi all,

We’ve recently put up a guide for how to deal with the following situation:

  • You’re entering opening balances for a fund where a pension has been paid to a fund member in the previous period

…but then the member’s account is ceased some time after this pension payment.

The guide will show you what to do in Simple Fund 360 so that you can see the pension payment in the operating statement as well as having the statement of financial position show the pension account with a balance of 0.
