What is the difference between selecting deactivated Companies and selecting in the client data screen edit to current client No?

When a client leaves us I push deactivated or should I just be selecting current client to No. I do revoke my NZ authority against that company so on the CAS records which one is best?

The company will continue to be included in your subscription fee until you deactivate it so I think you are doing the right thing. I would use “current client: No” for companies if we are not the ASIC Agent but wish to keep their records in CAS360.
